I think taxes should be at the top for the people who can afford them, but it’s not worth the extra gun taxes to vote for Trump due to the lives that would be lost if another Covid or something happened and all the Republicans acted like it wasn’t a big deal or was fake again. The math of saving lives due to extra taxes going into Social Security and Medicare might not work out after that, but Republicans win the math when war is at stake (which, like pandemics, is also supposed to be a rare event)
