Since we’re all looking for the best algorithms to use for everything related to AI now, can we start thinking about how we can use AI to solve this problem most efficiently? Like, should we start online discussions about what we want in an AI, personality-wise? Do we want to know the scientific truth, or do some people want to hear white lies, conspiracy theories, and PR statements? Is there any way we can ask for a certain type of personality or news slant (for example, I want to know more about how the article I’m reading relates to world events or our current predictions for the future) that isn’t already available as an established company’s motivations? I also want more of an emphasis on what can be done to make it right by common people, like if there’s a petition I can sign or even a little blurb with some current events background information for people who aren’t familiar with the events that led up to the news story.
