Don’t throw the book at him. If being a Republican (which I’m not now) has taught me anything, it’s that when half the country wants to hang someone and half wants to just see him serve jail time or be rehabilitated, don’t go with the half that wants to execute. Hell, if it’s half, it might be testosterone or hormones (men are from Mars, women are from Venus). In a hundred years time, we’ll look back on history and see ourselves as savages. That’s how it always goes.
