I think, in the future, if everyone looks the same, you'll be able to choose the avatars you want other people to appear as (I think most people will have the technology and it will be common to do so). This will be done to prevent seeing someone as something they're not, like when people throw tantrums, try to seduce you, etc.

Things we should invest in to create a utopia

Biden’s progress with the country reminds me of when I have to write a paper and I decide it would be the greatest time ever to clean my room instead. I have a chronic illness, and it was there in high school and college, and a lot of the time I couldn’t do anything at all. It’s like that with Biden and Congress—the Republican House majority makes it hard to get anything done that would help us claw our way out of the downward spiral we’re in right now. A little win is a win, but in the long-term, we’re probably sliding backwards.

Which sounds more probable?

If I’m in a psychological experiment: 

Hypothesis: I think Trump was never actually President and the identity of the real President was censored because...with fake news, at some point the government would have chosen to uphold the spirit of the law regarding fair elections and stepped in and filtered all social media posts to ensure fake news, misunderstandings, racism, etc. don’t end up swinging the election. If it wasn’t a safeguard already in place at the time, it would be by now. It also might have come about due to AI generated images possibly being presented as evidence in court. Even before that, there was Photoshop. 

Is it a psychological experiment?

Can't companies use AI filters on social media posts now so people can’t lie and say that something is real when it isn’t? Companies can’t lie or they go to court…how would it not be libel/slander and a crime?

How is this not some fake news story or a post on one-time-I-dreamt? How is this anything that Republicans value—patriotism, doing the right thing, keeping our country secure? It’s almost like the Republican Party has turned into a party of kamikaze terrorists, but they’re so obvious about it it feels like a dream where your body’s trying to wake you up by giving you obvious clues it’s a dream but everyone in your dream is gaslighting you into thinking everything’s normal.
